Africans largest Game Reserve and one of the favorites game viewing areas in Africa. The largely unexplored bush being home for enormous number of herds of Elephants, Hippos, Lions, Buffaloes, rarely wild dogs, Giraffes, many birds and Antelopes. Selous Game Reserve is just a single kilometer away from the banks of magnificent Rufiji River in southern circuit of Tanzania.

You’ll be collected from the airport (or hotel).

Accommodation before the tour departs can be arranged for extra cost.

Upon arrival at Dar es Salaam International Airport, you will be transfer to Terminal 1 for a small aircraft to Selous Game Reserve at Mtemere Airstrip; you will be met by the driver guide who will transfer you to the lodge for check in.
Or your driver guide shall pick you at the hotel/home and begin the drive down south of dar es Salaam to Selous Game Reserve the drive shall taje 4 or 5 hours. You will arrive at the lodge in the time for lunch.
About 16h00 depart for a boat safaris along the great Rufiji River. Overnight at Selous Kinga Lodge, full board.

Exploration of Selous game Reserve. Early breakfast at the lodge then depart for full day game drive in the reserve. Picnic lunch shall be provided, boat safari and walking safari can be done before the close of the day drive back to the lodge for Choice between full game drive with picnic lunch, half game drive and boat safari.

AAfter breakfast, you will have a final game drive en route to Mtemere airstrip for flight to Zanzibar.
Zanzibar Island, known as Unguja is a hilly island, about 85 km long (north-south) and 30 km wide (east-west) at its widest, with an overall area of about 2600 km². It is located in the southern half of the Zanzibar Archipelago, in the Indian Ocean, about 59 km south of the second largest island of the archipelago, Pemba. Unguja and mainland Tanzania are separated by the Zanzibar Channel. Unguja is surrounded by a number of smaller islands and islets, with only two of them, Tumbatu and Uzi, being inhabited. Other minor islands around Unguja include Bawe, Chapwani, Changuu, Chumbe, Kizingo, Kwale, Latham, Mautani, Miwi, Mnemba, Mwana wa Mwana, Nianembe, Popo, Pungume, and Ukanga. You will have an overnight at Casa Del Mar Hotel.

After breakfast at the lodge, you will be transferred with a game drive en route to Seronera Airstrip for a flight to Zanzibar. Our driver will meet you at Zanzibar Airport and transfer to Magical beach of Nungwi (North Coast). The Swahili culture was born there in the seventh century. Stone Town is the ideal place “to feel” the atmosphere, and soul of Zanzibar. Elegant trader’s houses, old coral stone buildings set behind large carved doors, some with Koranic inscriptions in Arabic, narrow alleyways with covered balconies, wonderful shops and tiny stalls, spice and fish market, and in the evening sounds and smells from the Forodhani Gardens where fish and lobster are grilled on barbecues.
